Ken is AgSafe’s Consultant on Vancouver Island.
Ken Lacroix was raised on a mixed farm in southern Ontario. Ken has worked with AgSafe since 1999, based on Vancouver Island.
Prior to joining FARSHA (as AgSafe was previously) Ken worked with BC Forest Safety Association after having worked in mining industry for 26 years as the safety coordinator.
During his time in the mining industry he was also an advisor of Occupational Health and Safety to the Ministry of Labour in Manitoba for 12 years as well as being an advisor for Manitoba Environmental Council for 12 years.
Ken studied occupational health and safety for 7 years at various universities and colleges across western Canada.
Ken has received the outstanding labour award from OHS Magazine and the Honorary Mine Driller Award from USWA.
Currently Ken teaches OHS courses at Vancouver Island University and North Island College. He also owns Ken Lacroix Health and Safety Consulting Company on Vancouver Island.
