Will Heller is AgSafeBC’s Certificate of Recognition (COR) Manager.

Will was born into a farm cottage in the Potteries area of England, where he fondly remembers trudging through mud ruts of tractors and counting Holsteins in the grazing pastures. He has a further varied work experience which includes hauling produce out of “produce row” on Malkin Street in Vancouver, tipping chickens at a broiler poultry farm, and installing feed augers at dairies and piggeries throughout the UK. These experiences sparked Will’s passion for safety in the industry.

Will decided to pursue education in business and safety, in order to better serve leaders. He has been awarded a certificate of distinction through the occupational health and safety program at BCIT as well as a diploma in entrepreneurial marketing. He continues to grow his safety and business knowledge through a consistent stream of education, experience in the field and volunteer work.

Will’s safety related experience includes developing COR awarded health and safety programs alongside small business owners and managers responsible for international business alike.

“I really enjoy working with a supportive team who are focussed on helping employers understand and meet the COR standard. I believe wholly that this is the best way to improve the culture of health and safety within agriculture.”

Happy to be heading up the COR program at AgSafe, Will hopes that he and the rest of the AgSafe team can help you reach your safety goals.
