Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)

This poster compares the chemical hazard symbols found on consumer labels, WHMIS1998 labels, and WHMIS2015 labels (most current system). This poster is a reference document for what symbols may be found on a worksite within the WHMIS classification.

All chemical products on a site should be used in accordance to the safety protocols found on the associated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the product.
