Mariya has a background in Construction Management from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) as well as Hospitality Management from Vancouver Community College (VCC).

From there, Mariya spent 9 years in the construction industry as a Project Manager.

Deciding to move on and learn something new, Mariya started working with AgSafe in the summer of 2021 as AgSafe's Executive Assistant.

Enjoying working with the AgSafe team and learning something new every day about Health and Safety in Agriculture, Mariya's role is about helping the AgSafe team with their special projects, which makes her role dynamic and interesting.
