Slips, trips and falls are a leading cause of injury in agricultural workplaces.

  • Pay attention and know the hazards in your workspace.
  • Anticipate changes in weather and surface conditions.
  • Choose appropriate footwear for the job you do.

COWBOY


Be careful where you put things so you don’t create a tripping hazard.


WORKSHOP


Keep shop floors clean and clear of tools, debris, or other items that could cause you to slip, trip, or fall.


TRACTOR


Always face in and maintain 3 points of contact when getting on or off equipment.


NURSERY


Some hazards cannot be eliminated. Always pay attention to your surroundings.


DAIRY


Keep walkways free of things that could make you slip, trip, or fall.
