Cornelius Denbok has dedicated the last 17 years to Rainbow Greenhouses Inc., serving in various leadership roles within Operations and Human Resources. Currently, he is the Director of International Programs, People & Culture. Throughout his tenure, he has overseen the foreign worker program, which began with 30 workers from Mexico and has since expanded to 300 workers annually from multiple countries and programs.
In addition to his work with the foreign worker program, Cornelius played a key role in developing the company’s Safety Program, collaborating closely with AgSafe. He has also been an active board member of WALI for many years and has served as a Director on the CAHRC board. His passion lies in creating a safe, respectful, and supportive living and working environment for foreign workers. It has been particularly rewarding for him to see senior foreign workers entrusting their sons to work at the farm, with several second-generation workers now joining the team.
Beyond his professional commitments, Cornelius is an active board member of his church and serves as Board President of his local school. He cherishes time with his wife of 40 years, their children, and grandchildren, and enjoys working on their hobby farm. An avid hiker, he can be found on mountain trails every week, embracing all weather conditions.
Cornelius is serving a 2-year term as one of AgSafe’s “Producer” Directors.
