Mark's experiences in ranching, the logging industry, and construction industry have shown him many times how important safety is in the workplace.
Mark began his experience in agriculture when his family bought a ranch in the Cariboo in his late teens. He spent many years working on the ranch, learning how to care for animals and operate different kinds of equipment.
He later started working for a logging contractor as a safety supervisor, where he helped to lead the company to becoming SAFE certified.
His interests later led him into the construction industry for 6 years before he took further theological training and became a pastor.
Mark continues to work as a pastor along with his roll with AgSafe.
His experiences in ranching, the logging industry, and construction industry have shown him many times how important safety is in the workplace. He finds reward in helping the hardworking producers of the Cariboo to be safe and effective in their workplaces.
Mark and his wife Alicia and their two boys live in Williams Lake where they enjoy exploring the beautiful Cariboo/Chilcotin in their free time. Mark plays soccer and coaches (herds) Under 4 soccer when not leading small groups in his church and posting sermons online.
