As of January 7, 2022, the provincial health officer has announced an order requiring employers to reinstate site specific, COVID-19 safety plans.

All employers in British Columbia are required to have a COVID-19 Safety Plan that assesses the risk of exposure at their workplace and implements measures to keep workers safe. This requirement comes from WorkSafeBC regulations and the above Order from the Provincial Health Officer of BC.

WorkSafeBC has created a template to assist employers, it can be found here.
