Who Needs An Orientation?
Any worker who is new to a particular task or job, to a particular location, to a particular tool or piece of equipment or hazard.
The Workers Compensation Act (WCA) Requires employers to provide a healthy and safe workplace and exercise due diligence in doing so. The Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (OHSR) requires employers to give a health and safety orientation to each new and young worker before they begin work in a workplace.
