Agricultural work can be demanding, and seasonal changes bring workers with varying levels of experience and understanding. Key Features & Benefits for Employers

  • WorkSafeBCCritical elements of worker orientations including worker rights, refusal of unsafe work, How to report a workplace injury, and claims suppression are discussed in the App.

  • LMIA processing – Recently, Service Canada has been requesting that employers provide a breakdown of their safety program prior to processing their LMIA. Employers need to prove that workers are being properly informed, instructed and trained to the tasks as outlined in their LMIA. WorkWell contains basic OHS knowledge that can help satisfy part of this request.

  • ISB audit – Employers that are selected for an audit by the Integrity Service Branch of Service Canda can also utilize WorkWell. Within the app there is a direct link to the Federally required "Temporary Foreign Workers: Your Rights are Protected" document, thus ensuring employers are compliant. ISB audit specific requirements such as chemical and pesticide safety can also be accessed through the App.
