Progressive Discipline for TFWs

A well-developed disciplinary policy can reduce incidents and illness in the workplace. Employers should review their discipline policy with TFWs during worker orientation and have them sign it. If a TFW needs to be disciplined, a progressive disciplinary approach is recommended. Our Progressive Discipline policy includes a sample policy and documentation for addressing and tracking disciplinary issues.

The Progressive Discipline for TFWs Package is part of the overall Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Orientation Package, and is for employers who have workers new to their worksite, starting a new task, or need a general refresh about on-site safety.
